This router's interface is quite easy thus making it simple to configure and set up the Triband account. This router is known to have frequent disconnection and modem hangup issues due to which MTNL recommends using the D-Link DSL-502T ADSL router instead of GLB-502T ADSL 2+ router. Configuring Router
To configure the MTNL Triband connection, the Triband account has to be active. If not, the same can be achieved by calling the Customer care.
Enter a name for the connection for example mtnl. Enter the username and password. Set VPI = 0 and VCI = 32. Click Apply. Select Tools > System Commands. Save All and then, Restart. Configuring Ethernet
The router provides two connection ports i.e. Ethernet and USB.
For Ethernet, the router can be used in DHCP or STATIC LAN configuration.
It is recommended to use the DHCP mode which will allow the machine to procure its network settings from the Dlink router.
If the STATIC mode is chosen then enter the following details in the network configuration of the PC: IP Address: 192.168.1.2 Gateway: 192.168.1.1 Netmask: 255.255.255.0 DNS Server: 192.168.1.1
